Sr. Software Engineer - Parsippany, NJ. Design, develop, install, test, and maintain enterprise-wide Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) applications. Consult with clients to prepare project specifications, user requirement specifications, configuration specifications, and risk assessment. Employ good design methodologies to design, enhance, improve or otherwise develop systems throughout project life cycle in accordance with corporate and/or client functional needs, requirements, quality control parameters and standard operating procedures. Participate in the definition and implementation of technical directions and architectural solutions. Develop functional specifications from user requirement specifications. Direct, review, and approve software design and changes. Comply with corporate and client Change Management (CM), Quality Management (QM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Code software modules based on technical specifications and document design and technical specifications of operative solutions. Develop and direct testing and validation procedures, including unit testing, integration testing, acceptance testing. Perform continuous Integration of software. Must have Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS and two years of experience (in any occupation) in customizing complex software, object oriented design; relational database programming; large scale application support and testing; software project life cycle (SDLC); coordinating and executing all aspects of validation including Validation Plans, User Requirement Specifications, Functional and Design Specifications, Testing Protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ), and User Acceptance testing; writing test cases to ensure code integrity and scalability; performing JUnit Testing; ensuring proper code and data integration upstream and downstream; and designing and developing a change management system and knowledge of Oracle, JAVA, Java Script, HTML, CSS, JIRA, MySQL Junit, JSON, Scala, Shell Scripting, HTML, Unix+, Agile, API Development, and RDBMS.
