    Aon is looking for candidates with General, Business or Underwriting Insurance experience who have a passion for new business, outstanding client service and progressing their insurance career.

    In this role you will be tasked with a variety of new business activities for clients keen to obtain insurance.

    This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home and from our Aon office.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Achieve personal and team sales targets on small to moderate size accounts

  • Work towards KPI’s and targets

  • Convert ‘hot’ leads into sales

  • Work with ‘hot’ leads through several channels such as instant messaging, email and inbound/outbound phone calls

  • Advocate for clients through best practice insurer negotiations to achieve the best outcome

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to achieve high client outcomes

  • Provide outstanding customer service and exceed client expectations

  • Use Salesforce as your main platform

  • Multi-task whilst navigating a range of technologies

  • Build relationships with a variety of insurance clients

    Our ideal candidate will relate to the following:

  • Experience in general insurance, sales, new business, client relationship management or Underwriting (highly regarded)

  • Insurance Broking experience (highly regarded)

  • RG146 Tier 1 Insurance Broking (preferred) or willingness to obtain

  • Experience with Bus Packs, Marine, Commercial Motor, Liability and alterations

  • Some experience managing a renewal portfolio of transactional SME business (highly regarded)

  • Understanding of the insurance life cycle

  • Understanding of debtor management and insurance compliance requirements

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to build strong partner relationships

  • Relevant technical and product knowledge (required)

  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry (preferred)

  • Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs (highly regarded)

  • Sales approach and ability to make a connection with clients (highly regarded)

  • Comfortable using multiple systems including Salesforce, CRM, MS Excel and Outlook
