West Virginia Employer Teacher Support - Childcare in Parkersburg, West Virginia

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years of age. Must have at least one year of the experience working with children either in a home or work environment. Additional requirements will be obtained throughout employment as required by licensing standards. Must be dependable and honest; be flexible and adapt to change and must be willing to accept supervision in order to improve work performance. Must be physically able to play (work) with young children, crawling on the floor, lifting and moving around the classroom. Drug screening and background check upon offer of employment. JOB DESCRIPTION: This position provides care for children6 weeks through 5 years of age under the supervision of the Child Care Center Director and Lead Teacher. This position will help introduce and educate new and basic concepts to children by reading to, talking to, playing with and nurturing them. The child care provider must be able to communicate well with the parents, which will include keeping daily records on the child. Operating hours are 6:30m to 6:00pm Monday through Friday. No weekends or evenings. Full-time and Part-time positions available.
