The Hiller Companies, LLC has an immediate opening for Fire Alarm Service Technician.

Job Summary: Fire Alarm Service Technicians are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing Fire Alarm systems and associated interface equipment. The Fire Alarm Service Technician will perform both routine inspections, scheduled repairs, and emergency service calls.

Salary: $21.50 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and certifications.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform routine service and maintenance tasks on fire alarm systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. This includes inspecting, testing, cleaning components, and verifying system functionality. Identify and diagnose issues with fire alarm systems. Troubleshoot and repair faulty components, wiring, and equipment to restore optimal system performance. Provides customer instruction on system operation and functionality. Ability to manage job scheduling and job progress in an efficient and cost-effective manner, with a strong focus on quality. Respond to service requests, must be able to accurately diagnose fire alarm system malfunctions and adjust, repair, or replace equipment as needed to bring into compliance. Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing their inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally. Educate customers on fire alarm system functionality, best practices, and emergency response procedures. Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner. Making sure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations. Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices. Ensure proper Maintenance and care of equipment - trucks, lifts, tools, etc.
