Job Title: Ski Instructor, Level III Job Description: VR CPC Holdings, Inc. dba Park City Mountain Resort is looking to fill Ski Instructor, Level III positions in Summit County (Park City), Utah. This is a temporary full-time seasonal position and we are looking to fill 40 job openings for employment from 11/17/2024 to 03/31/2025. Duties: Teach ski techniques and principles to guests of all levels. Focus on advanced skiers. Teach a variety of alpine lessons. Understand, abide by and promote rules and procedures set forth in Resource and Guidelines manual, including lift-loading and safety protocols. Train other ski instructors. Requirements: Must have current Level III certification w/ Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA), International Ski Instructors Association (ISIA), or equivalent organization. Must be able to work the full period of employment. Terms & Conditions of Employment: At least $27.00/per hour, at least 35 hrs/wk, Sat-Fri, 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (schedule, hours and shifts vary). Overtime is available as needed. Overtime rate of pay is at least $40.50/per hour. Transportation: From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse for transportation and subsistence (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed early, employer will reimburse or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Tools, equipment and supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due; The pay period is every two weeks; The employer will make all payroll deductions required by law; The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees including those mandated by the government incurred by the H-2B worker. Optional housing is available on a limited basis at a bi-weekly cost of $291.00 to $326.00, depending on the unit type, number of beds in the unit, and the number of people living in the unit. A license deposit of $250 is due prior to check-in. With employee's voluntary consent, housing costs may be deducted from paycheck.
