JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for promoting the success of the Players Club by assisting customers through the member process and explaining the benefits of membership

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Encourages new quests to become members of Players Club.
  • Enrolls new guests into Players Club.
  • Redeems points for Players Club members.
  • Makes point adjustments as necessary on a qualifying basis.
  • Issues casino complimentary items on a qualifying basis.
  • Walks the floor to promote those who do not have a Club card and assists customers in the correct usage.
  • Recognizes potential high end patrons and encourages them to join Club Wyandotte.
  • Communicates promotional, special events and point structure to all guests.
  • May assist marketing with the execution of promotions and events.
  • Adheres to the system of internal controls policies and procedures.
  • Resolves inquiries and complaints from patrons.
  • Operates as an emergency Pull/Count Team member as required.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educational/Experience: High School diploma/GED preferred. Customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work as directed by your supervisor, which may result in being scheduled anytime during a 24 hour period, 365 days a year.
  • Must excel at customer service.
  • Basic computer skills, Internet Explorer, Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Work, Excel).
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business demands.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and guests.
  • Must have a friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in a high stress environment.
  • Maintains an even temper and is friendly and positive with others. Demonstrates good judgment, has positive interactions with co-workers and customers. Treats others with respect and dignity.

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Ability to prepare, read, and interpret documents; write reports and correspondence; and speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people.
  • Ability to compose grammatically correct documents.
  • Ability to verbally communicate using appropriate English standards of language.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.

LICENSING

Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, State, Federal and/or Wyandotte Nation law.
