Actalent Designer in Park City, Kansas

Actalent is Looking for Designers!

Description:

Creates equipment designs, parts and assemblies, based on quotes or engineering specifications.

Performs design verification and reviews drawings prior to release for customer approval and manufacturing.

Ensures Bills of Materials are accurate and manages data through PLM system.

Collaborates with Sales, customers, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing and Manufacturing to ensure designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.

Supports Manufacturing as required with technical information.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills:

Solidworks, 3d design, catia, autodesk inventor, bill of material, mechanical design, autocad

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred of 2 years previous design experience in a manufacturing environment.

Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and principles strongly preferred.

Preferred of 2+ years previous experience using Solidworks or similar 3D design platform required.

Must be able to multi-task and complete assignments on time.

Collaborate with other departments.
