Bombardier Material & Work Planner in Paris, France

In your role, you will

Maintenance Planner (MCC) for headquarters in Paris (Le Bourget), France

  • Prepare time critical maintenance inputs from start to finish.

  • Communicate with operators, suppliers and third parties – ensuring a smooth maintenance for the engineer and operator.

  • Prepare the work packages for the certifying staff and the mechanics.

  • Source required spares / material / tools in accordance with the aircraft´s manuals – including the logistics from the vendor to installation of parts -especially in time critical Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.

  • Prepare follow up Work Reports for customers.

  • Maintain the history files for customers.

  • Plan maintenance work in cooperation with customers and managing the company planning tool.

  • Be responsible for the complete communication between the operator and engineer from start to finish of any maintenance input, also as required with the OEMs.

  • Arrange travel for engineers in case of AOG scenarios.

  • Ensure all received parts have correct documentation (Form 1/Form 8130/CofC) and timely return to vendor if needed.

  • Prepare certificates (e. g. Form 1).

  • Assist in providing time estimates.

  • Create quotes for customers.

As our ideal candidate

  • You have knowledge of applicable EASA and FAA regulations as a must, additional regulations such as applicable for Isle of Man/San Marino/etc. preferred.

  • You have basic knowledge of Part-M, Part-145 and any other relevant regulations.

  • You have knowledge of Manuals (i.e. MPD, AMM, IPC, etc.) and thorough understanding of aircraft systems, including regulations (e.g. MEL).

  • You have knowledge on EWIS and CDCCL.

  • You have the ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.

  • You have effective communication in both written and verbal form on individual task and/or aircraft status.

  • You have knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • You have demonstrated ability to train other employees.

  • You have at least 2 years of experience as a maintenance planner and must have an aircraft technical background.

  • You must be a customer centric individual.

  • You have experience with Bombardier aircrafts, if not, other Business Aircraft is an asset.

  • You have good communication skills, both written and spoken, in French and English.

  • You are a team player, a motivated decision maker and are able to multitask.
