Introduction:

An exciting opportunity became available to join Boeing as a Communications Specialist, based in Paris, France . Please note that hybrid working option is enabled for this role.

Position Responsibilities:

As the Communications Specialist in France reporting into the regional Communications Director, who is also based in our Paris office, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Strengthening The Boeing Company’s corporate reputation in France across all stakeholder constituencies.

  • Serving as the Company spokesperson and represent the company with media, customers, government organizations, opinion leaders and supplier-partners.

  • Supporting the business objectives of Boeing International, Corporate, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Boeing Defense Space and Security and Boeing Global Services, in France.

  • Helping shape France market for growth and productivity.

  • Developing, continuously realigning and executing communications plans in support of Boeing International and Business Units’ objectives.

  • Leading Boeing France digital and social media presence.

  • Designing and supporting effective communications to engage, connect and align employees in France with the company business plan and priorities.

  • In close collaboration with the Country Leader, driving and supporting Corporate Citizenship communications activities to demonstrate engagement to France.

  • In close collaboration with the regional Director, enhancing Boeing’s corporate reputation in Morocco and support businesses in their activities in the Kingdom.

Your main Focus Areas consist of:

  • Strategic Planning.

  • Strategic Counsel & Intelligence.

  • Media Relations.

  • Events Organization.

  • Issues Management and Crisis Communications.

  • Digital and Social Media.

  • Internal Communications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Meaningful experience in communications roles with international corporations in France.

  • Significant experience working with all stakeholders, not only media.

  • Similar international experience is an asset.

  • Fluent French and English, written and spoken.

  • Exceptional market-focused business judgment and strategic counselling skills.

  • Strategic vision and creativity matched with hands-on tactical approach. Excellent judgment, extreme discretion, high ethical standards and flexibility in work hours.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with business associations, strategic partners, customers as well as media.

  • Strong media-relations and social media skills with significant crisis and issues management experience. In-depth knowledge of French media, the international business environment and France/US relations.

  • Superior communication, writing and presentation skills; ability to write executive speeches and articles for publication.

  • The ability to think provocatively and work collaboratively.

  • Results-driven with a strong bottom-line orientation.

  • A tolerance for organizational complexity and a very strong team player.

  • Ability to organize/prioritize many concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment, maintaining keen attention to detail and follow-through.
