Summary:

Meta is seeking Research Scientists to join its Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) organization, focused on making significant advances in AI. We are looking for exceptional candidates in the field of core learning, with a focus on the intersections between out-of-distribution generalization and large language models.In particular, we are looking for a researcher interested in investigating the role of associative/non-parametric memory for improving the efficiency and generalization abilities of LLMs.

Required Skills:

AI Research Scientist - Core Learning (Paris) Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct and publish world-class research articles on fundamental research on AI

  2. Open-sourcing high quality code and reproducible results for the community

  3. Mentoring junior scientists, including our interns, PhDs and postdocs

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. PhD in mathematics, statistics, physics, or computer science

  2. Deep knowledge about the state-of-the-art (theory and practice) in ML and AI

  3. Proficiency in coding, executing, and evaluating large scale experiments in PyTorch
