Job Information

Philips Lead Software Developer C++ in Paris (FR), France

In this role, you have the opportunity to solve the highly technical challenges surrounding the capture and transmission of biomedical data within the healthcare industry.

You are responsible for:

  • Exploring what future technologies can bring to the Philips Capsule drivers and products.

  • Leading the technical choices related to the architecture of the solution.

  • Managing the product security process and documentation for the team.

  • Enhancing processes to improve the quality, safety, and security of our products.

  • Contributing to frameworks and tools creation, development, and maintenance.

You are a part of the Connectivity and Data Integration (C&DI) group in a team composed of architects, system, software development, and test engineers. Based in Paris (remote 3days/week), you are collaborating with other teams of the C&DI group spread over 4 countries to provide them with the frameworks and tools necessary to produce Philips Capsule drivers communicating with third party medical devices. Interacting with other teams in the Philips Capsule business, you will enhance the data processing and integration features of the Philips Capsule product.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Computer Science background, or equivalent experience.

  • Significant C++ development practice ideally with C++17 or above.

  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.

  • Autonomy, resourcefulness, communication skills.

  • Ability to communicate easily in written and spoken English.

And preferably, you have experience in:

  • Software craftmanship (build system, package management, CI/CD pipeline, unit tests).

  • Knowledge of the C# and Kotlin languages used in our group for tools.

  • Cybersecurity risk management processes, discovery, and mitigation techniques.

  • Medical software development.

Et de préférence, vous avez de l'expérience dans :
