Job Summary:

This position has received sufficient training and demonstrated exceptional work experience as a Journeyman HVAC Service Technician. He is capable to perform all work in the service and maintenance field on most types of equipment. Responsible for retrofit and repair of environmental-comfort systems, utilizing knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.

Principal Responsibilities:

· Response to service emergency call and responsible for servicing all products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

· Provides service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.

· Performs preventive maintenance, site surveys, installations, and modifications as needed or requested by customers, HVAC Field Technicians, or HVAC Field Technician Supervisor.

· Keeps abreast on all Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair to respond in a fast-paced changing market.

· Uses a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.

· Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer's location and Turns in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.

· Implements and maintains security of staff, equal opportunities, customer service standards and other policies as appropriate, ensuring understanding and implementation.

· Ensures compliance, participation and support to the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs and activities and keeping priority in maintaining the work place safe at all times.

Qualifications:

· Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a Trade / Technical School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, Airconditioning (HVAC)

· Must have at least 5 years of experience in HVAC
