Wellness Therapist - OPTICS

Job Summary:

You will provide individual counseling and workshop services to professionals who work with the Opioid Use Disorder population. Provide wellness workshops to outside agencies in order to increase overall self-care for professionals, document accurate and timely records for each case, and ensure departmental objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame by performing the job responsibilities personally.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide individual therapy to professionals working with the opiate use population as a supportive service.

  • Provide wellness seminars to agencies focused on self-care, implementing boundaries, grief/loss, communication, processing personal triggers, and recognizing and mitigating symptoms of burnout

  • Document service outcomes as per Care Plus and payer's policies and procedures.

  • Assess and evaluate clients at intake, admission, during ongoing treatment, service delivery, and at discharge and transfer.

  • Formulate treatment plans with relevant, measurable goals and objectives that serve as indexes for evaluating treatment progress and realistic time frames for achievement.

  • Assist client with concrete services and advocacy, interface with other systems on behalf of the client

  • Engage in inter-organizational care coordination, and follow up on referrals

  • Assist with problem-solving for individual and family member, treatment, and supportive interventions

What We Need to See:

  • A Master's degree in a behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university and documented knowledge of at least two (2) years of work experience with substance use populations and/or co-occurring populations MCO panel eligible, as applicable.

  • A valid driver's license and must be insurable by agency's insurance standards.

  • Professional License preferred LCSW, LPC LCADC and required LSW/LAC with a minimum of 2 years' experience working on multi-disciplinary teams.
