Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Psychiatric evaluations for newly admitted patients

  • Collaboration with Nursing and Social Work staff

  • Appropriate documentation and treatment planning according to regulatory guidelines

  • Medication management for psychiatric disorders

  • Medication management for substance use disorders

  • Psychotherapeutic treatment as indicated

  • REQUIREMENTS

    • Graduation from an accredited medical school plus completion of required residency in Psychiatry

  • Additional qualification in Addiction Psychiatry is preferred

  • Valid and unlimited license to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey.

  • Valid license to prescribe controlled substances (DEA and CDS).

  • Demonstrated experience in Behavioral Health as set forth in Psychiatry credentialing requirements
