North Fork Mosquito Abatement District Field Technician in Paonia, Colorado
POSITION: Field Technician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: *General Labor duties associated with Mosquito abatement. *Mosquito control, vehicle operation, product application, site mitigation. *Clean and maintain facilities, vehicles, and equipment. *Conduct pesticide applications at mosquito breeding sites according to the product label and District policies and procedures. *Perform tasks safely according to special district guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS: *Must be at least 18 years of age. *Valid Drivers License. *Motor Vehicle record in good standing. *Perform tasks with intregrity. Looking for applicants who are trustworthy, reliable, and self motivated. Dealing with the public is a key part of the field technician position. Interacting with outstanding customer service and positive communication is a must.
WAGE: $15.00 per hour starting salary with a pay increase depending on qualifications and peformance.
SHIFT: *Part-time, early morning or late evening hours possible depending on business need. *The assignment is seasonal, typically May - September.
JOB SITE: The job requires travel throughout the North Fork in Delta County. Work is primarily completed in the Paonia, Hotchkiss, and Crawford areas.
BENEFITS: No benefits for a seasonal, temporary position.
