King Technologies, Inc is seeking to fill a mid-level position in the IT Cyber Security field with plenty of opportunity for upward mobility. Must have an understanding of STIG software, Testing Procedures to include automated tools such as ACAS and SCAP and basic knowledge of HBSS, eMASS and DADMS, what they are and how they’re used.

Position Summary/Descriptions:

This position will support all local labs within NSWC PCD. Install, test, update, maintain lab hardware as required. Perform as a cybersecurity technical resource for cybersecurity issues that are not inherently governmental. Communicate effectively with all customers both internal and external IT professionals at DoD, DoN, and NAVSEA for the purposes of obtaining and providing information. Technically support Government Cybersecurity personnel in ensuring compliance with the DoD, DoN, and NAVSEA IAVA Management Program by provided compliance due date. Interface with ISSOs and system administrators to ensure timely compliance with all requirements.

Essential Duties:

  • Support configuration changes to the OS.

  • Perform daily system monitoring.

  • Verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.

  • Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as system backups.

  • Monitor system performance and review for compliance with IA security and privacy requirements within the RDT&E environment.

  • Assist local labs with any and all changes or updates as required.

    Qualifications Required:

  • DoD Secret Security Clearance

  • DoD 8570.01-M Baseline IT Level I and IAT Level II certifications are required

  • Security + certification

  • 1 year of experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with A&A and RMF
