Actalent Engineering Technician in Panama City, Florida

  • The Field Service Technician (FST) responsibili t ies includes the day to day opera ti on of the NSWC PCD SeaFox inventory warehouse, and the repair and test of all Seafox system components for both the SMNS and AMNS system configura ti ons.

  • The FST will organize and track loca ti ons, then document quan titi es of all parts brought to or taken out of the warehouse.

  • Specific du ti es associated with maintaining the warehouse include working with the CM specialist daily to ensure accurate CMPRO inventory as parts are added and removed from the facility.

  • Issue parts to NSWC PCD when requested and no ti fying NSWC PCD leadership when quan titi es are low.

  • Accept and in-process parts when they are brought for storage.

  • All Items are inspected for completeness and proper func ti onality before storage.

  • Addi ti onally, the FST performs 100% inbound inspec ti on on all new parts from Delivery Order procurements, from all vendors, prior to staging for acceptance with NSWC PCD.

  • For material delivery the FST packages and coordinates all outgoing parts with shippers, receives all incoming packages, and performs inbound processing IAW the ANA ISO 9001:2015 procedures as well as contract requirements.

  • The FST documents all work by genera ti ng the required delivery paperwork (DD250, CoC, Inbound Inspec ti on Report, Deficiency Report, etc.)

  • The FST manages NSWC SeaFox Battery Inventory and performs required battery maintenance.

  • The FST has organized and maintains serialized manufacturer made sets of batteries by performing maintenance charging per the OEM specifica ti ons to keep all the NSWC PCD SeaFox batteries in peak condi ti on year-round.

  • The FST will receive hands on factory level training appropriate for the conduct of their du ti es in performing organiza ti onal and depot maintenance on all USN Seafox assets as directed by NSWC PCD, documen ti ng the results and providing RFI components to the sailor.

  • ATLAS maintains the only OEM cer ti fied depot facility in North America. As such the FST is the custodian and operator of the RAP-190 diagnos ti c tester.
