Cost Accounting Operations Maintenance SME Support - Tyndall AFB, FL

JOB SUMMARY:

BBandE is seeking aCost Accounting Operations Maintenance (SME) Supportto support the IMPESS Contract at Tyndall AFB, FL. This is a REMOTE Opportunity.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical support and/or solutions successfully integrating CE financial management capabilities to support Installations CE level organization financial management process.,
  • Use effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Coordinate with MAJCOM and base level personnel to include identifying, documenting, and reporting lessons learned during all phases of implementation of program.
  • Use MS Office Suite, (Word, PowerPoint, and advance use of Excel).
  • Group/Individual site visit logistics including, but not limited to, lodging, travel, trip coordination, agendas, meeting spaces, base access, site coordination, funding, and equipment.
  • Identify, document, and analyze emergent problems and data with the DAF CE NexGen IT System and provide recommended courses of action.
  • Develop and coordinate procedures and/or guidance for DAF CE enterprise matters.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS Degree or higher in Logistics, Business, Management, or Accounting and fifteen-plus (15+) years of Department of the Air Force (DAF) Civil Engineer (CE) installation level organization financial management experience managing resourcing requirements for CE Financial Management programs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability analysis data to decern root causes related to cost accounting lines of effort and the skill to provide end users direction that aligns with CE Enterprise goals and objectives.
  • Ability to formulate informational and actionable data visualization presentations from small to large data sets that provide end users with clear understanding.
  • Knowledge of NexGen IT, Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management Systems (DEAMS), Commander's Resource Integration System (CRIS) systems and capabilities.
  • Knowledge of enterprise financial management systems, and how they pertain to resourcing and supporting CE installation level organizations and the CE Enterprise operations and maintenance activities to sustain built infrastructure.
  • Have in-depth background of DAF CE transformation, Program Action Directive (PAD) 12-03, Asset Management Principles, Financial management laws, DoD policy AFIs, AFMANs, and UFCs, as well as CE related AFIs, AFMANs, and UFCs.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
