Come join Kohler Ventures as Sr. Software Quality Engineer, as we build a best-in-class global multi-disciplinary team across artificial intelligence, machine learning, design, advanced software and hardware engineering, strategy, venture investments, sales, marketing, and partnerships.

In your role as Senior Software Quality Engineer at Kohler Ventures you will:

  • Work directly with the Head of Software, software/hardware engineering team, and product teams.

  • Build the forward-looking vision and lead the effort to ensure the entire development lifecycle takes a quality first approach.

  • Help deploy and integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.

  • Establish testing patterns, best practices, and increase test coverage (in partnership with engineers).

  • Conduct technical reviews for new features and identify quality concerns.

  • Participate in various scrum meetings to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, estimates or potential problems.

Skills/Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer.

  • Experience with functional, regression, and end to end testing.

  • Experience with some of test automation tools/frameworks for Node, server API such as Jest, Cucumber.

  • Experience validating iOS, Android, or embedded firmware for IoT devices.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into test plan and develop test automations at all layers.

  • Availability to work outside of regular business hours as needed to collaborate with global teams and travel to South Korea 2-4 times/year.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in software and hardware/firmware and information security for cloud and IoT devices.

  • Experience in development using script programming language, Python is preferred.

The approved base salary range for this position is $103,900 - $131,950. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. This position is eligible for a 30% Area Salary Differential (cost of living adjustment) for San Francisco Bay area. The approved base salary range including ASD for this position is $132,080 - 171,535. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and a special project incentive. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401k.
