About the role

The CBRE EHS Supervisor oversees a team of EHS Specialists in the team’s overall responsibility to support our Global Technology Client's EHS operations in the management of their overall EHS Programs. The duties are similar to the duties of the EHS Specialist however this person will also be more of a subject matter expert ensuring that the Client receives the highest level of quality in the timeliness manner.

The EHS Supervisor must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area since they will be required to work at the Client's sites on a consistent basis.

What you'll do

  • Conducting pre-inspection building and lab walk-throughs to ensure safety and compliance before Fire Department inspections.

  • Conduct risk assessments for lab spaces and develop documentation for mitigation of any findings.

  • Develop documentation for EHS programs that will be implemented both locally and globally.

  • Manage projects that include the development of design, content, and delivery methods of hands-on and online compliance training;

  • Manage projects that include the development of guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs);

  • Management for projects that utilize a data tracking process and record keeping system.

  • Review and revise EHS programs to ensure relevance and compliance.

  • Project management services include:

  • Maintaining project documentation, managing project timelines, identifying project risk and mitigation measure recommendations, providing regular project updates, project closure presentations including lessons learned and opportunities for improvement, and metric collection.

What you'll need

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Bachelor's Degree in an EHS related field. Will consider work experience in lieu of educational requirements.

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience working as an EHS Specialist is required.

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant certification is preferred.

  • Proven ability to conduct and document risk assessments.

  • Experience conducting lab inspections and chemical inventory and management.

  • Significant experience interacting with regulatory agencies.

  • Proficiency using Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.

The minimum salary for the HSE Supervisor - Operations position is $95,200 annually and the maximum salary for the HSE Supervisor - Operations position is $128,800 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Vision Insurance.
