We are seeking a talented Client-Facing Accounting Manager to drive our financial operations, providing strategic guidance and support to our clients as they implement our software solutions.

Job Description:

As the Client-Facing Accounting Manager for our remote start-up software company, you will be a crucial link between our clients and our software implementation team, ensuring seamless integration of our solutions into their financial processes. You will lead client engagements, providing expert accounting guidance and support to optimize the use of our software and deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships while understanding their unique accounting needs.

  • Software Implementation Support: Collaborate closely with clients and our software implementation team to facilitate the successful adoption and integration of our solutions into their financial workflows.

  • Accounting Advisory: Provide expert guidance and best practices to clients on accounting processes, procedures, and controls, leveraging your knowledge and expertise to address their specific requirements.

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and review of client data to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and efficiency gains.

  • Training and Education: Develop and deliver training sessions and educational materials for clients to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize our software.

  • Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges encountered during software implementation, working collaboratively with clients and internal teams to find timely and effective solutions.

  • Project Management: Lead client engagements from inception to completion, managing timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful outcomes and client satisfaction.

  • Client Advocacy: Act as a client advocate within the organization, representing their interests and feedback to inform product development, enhancements, and strategic initiatives.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a reputable institution.

  • CPA certification is required.

  • 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or accounting advisory services, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Familiarity with accounting software and technology solutions is advantageous.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment, managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
