STG International Facilities Support Specialist in Palm Desert, California

The Facilities Support Specialist will be responsible for general light maintenance, service, and repair of items within the Veterans Administration clinics to maintain a gold standard of service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Conduct customer liaison with Veterans Administration onsite personnel to gather issues pertaining to facilities maintenance, service and upkeep.

  • Data entry of facilities-related items into Computerized Maintenance Management System (UpKeep) for reporting and tracking.

  • Coordinate service and maintenance vendors work onsite to include escorting vendors within the facilities and on the clinic grounds.

  • Resolve minor necessary facilities-related issues to satisfactory resolution.

Required Skills

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • Prior experience in customer service relations.

  • Experience and knowledge of commercial real estate services and maintenance items preferred.

  • Basic handyman skills, i.e. patching drywall, painting.

Required Experience

  • Required onsite a minimum of once per week at the two assigned clinic locations - one in Palm Desert, CA and the other in Murrieta, CA.

  • Office space provided at Palm Desert VA Clinic (aka Sy Kaplan VA).

  • Work from home authorized at supervisor’s discretion as long as required once per week site visit at each clinic is performed.

Pay:$38/hr
