Job Description:

In this position, you will bring your development engineering background to a systems engineering role where you can make a broad impact to engineering projects that are critical to our customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Technical point of contact for the customer.

  • Brief leadership on technical status.

  • Provide guidance and direction to Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Firmware designers to ensure the success of the design.

  • Designing test sets for environmental stress screening (ESS)

  • Ensure the system meets requirements as designed by the customer

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

  • 7 years experience in electrical, mechanical, or embedded firmware/software engineering detailed design of custom electronic subsystems

  • Experience with requirements management, deriving requirements, & creating requirements test verification matrices

  • Experience designing test sets for environmental stress screening (ESS)

  • Systems Integration and Test experience

  • Experience with DOORs or equivalent requirements management tool

  • Active Secret Security clearance

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or similar engineering discipline

  • Master’s degree in systems, electrical, or similar engineering discipline

  • Experience developing technical or cost proposals in a defense contracting environment

  • Experience with earned value management systems for measuring program performance

  • Strong communication and leadership skills
