JOB SUMMARY

* *The Quality Engineer will provide experienced quality support to the customer service teams, quality engineers, quality assurance and the business management system.

Quality engineer is responsible for the generation of a strategic plan to improve the business processes and increase production output. Duties include creating the company's quality standards and testing systems to reflect efficiency, reliability and performance. Quality Engineer are also responsible for the creation of documentation that reports issues and errors relating to the production process with efforts placed to find a solution.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Reviews design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and ensure compliance.
  • Ensures that products meet the companies and customers' quality and product integrity requirements.
  • Supports the customer service team by providing analysis/monitoring and expertise throughout the organizational processes related to the BMS.
  • Identifies root causes of problems in the BMS process; recommends and/or implements corrective measures.
  • Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality/delivery or defects with a goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
  • Ensures manufacturing processes comply with federal, state, local, and industry standards and regulations.
  • Evaluates customer requirements and contractual obligations as it pertains to the BMS and related processes of the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

``` - Develop and establish quality assurance measures for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing processes throughout their development/product lifecycles. - Liaise with suppliers in assessing applications and/or systems under consideration for purchase. - Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under development or consideration to determine its intended functionality. - Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for and corresponding documentation. - Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies. - Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices.
