About the Role

Aon’s Paeroa branch currently has an opportunity for a proven relationship builder to support and grow an established client base. The Branch supports a mixture of Commercial, Rural and Domestic clients.

A part of your role will focus on building relationships and driving new business. This is an office based role with interactions via telephone, email or in person with clients visiting the branch.

Some of your responsibilities will include

  • Consulting and being a trusted advisor to your client base along with managing client servicing requirements

  • Identifying opportunities for growth both within your existing client base and new business

  • Providing professional, accurate and efficient responses to client needs through liaison with external stakeholders and underwriters

  • Preparing proposals for new business opportunities

  • Coordinating client renewals and preparing premium calculations

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven experience in leadership and management

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities

  • Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • The ability to mentor and coach our more junior members of the team
