We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Developer , committed to open framework for building automatio n and building-related IoT applications that run on embedded controls , servers , and the cloud , to be hired with a permanent contract in Padova within the Building Products area.

Your Challenge

As Senior Full Stack Software Developer your mission will be to build high performance and scalable platform extensions and features which will adapt our current FIN Framework to the personal needs of our OEM’s and customers. You will work within a local and global team of highly skilled Software Engineers, Test Engineers, and Product Managers and you will report to the EMEA Professional Services Director.

Some of the main activities will be:

  • Building platform extensions & custom features using Java- like technologies

  • Work on all levels of the web stack (HTML5/CSS, JavaScript/React/Webpack, TypeScript/Node.js)

  • Architect and implement efficient and reusable front-end and back-end systems that drive complex web applications

  • Build restful services using TypeScript

  • Provide technical guidance to team members

  • Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products

  • Participate in code reviews and design discussion with other developers and software architects

  • Analyze the performance of code and implement enhancements.

  • Investigate issues and derive root cause and correction.

  • Understand BAS terms, concepts, and usability is a great plus

  • Understand customer needs.

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:

  • Proven experience in JavaScript, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6

  • Knowledge in server side OO languages like Java or c#.

  • Experience developing modular user interfaces, and familiarity with modern CSS frameworks, tools, and workflow

  • Proven understanding of the full web technology stack and previous experience on software projects that used agile methodologies

  • Experience in developing and in building services using TypeScript is a great plus

  • Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g., unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)

  • Education background in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.

  • Passion to never-stop growing

  • Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create andshare knowledge

  • Fluency in English written and spoken

  • Eligibility to work in Italy
