Bank OZK Deposit Operations Account Specialist I in Ozark, Arkansas

Job Purpose & Scope

Responsible for providing daily retail support for deposit operation functions. Assist current and future retail staff in performing their responsibilities in a professional and accurate manner according to Bank policy and compliance.

Essential Job Functions

  • Processes and verifies new and revised account documentation, according to bank policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Processes and verifies file maintenances.

  • Evaluates processing issues for resolution and/or escalation.

  • Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.

  • Follow Bank policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to adapt well to change

  • Ability to adapt to repeated interruptions

  • Ability to respond to branch requests and demands professionally and promptly

  • Ability to learn and follow Bank policies and procedures

  • Ability to work extended hours if necessary

  • Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience using computer, including Microsoft Word and Excel, required.
