Job Posting: Certified Payroll Clerk Toro Enterprises Inc. Location: In-person Salary Range: $33,940 - $51,570 Industry: Construction (Preferred but not required) Position Overview: Toro Enterprises is seeking a meticulous Certified Payroll Clerk to join our dedicated payroll and Human Resources team. This role demands a high degree of accuracy and compliance in managing payroll processes to ensure timely and correct payments to all employees. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll in accordance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with pay policies, payroll calendars, checklists, and procedural documentation.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to support payroll operations.
  • Communicate effectively with multiple personnel to address payroll-related inquiries and issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and payroll data.
  • Support other payroll and HR-related tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Hearing, speaking, and vision must be adequate to perform job functions.
  • Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs.
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize tasks along with cognitive reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of firsthand payroll experience, including certified payroll and prevailing wage calculations.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Certified payroll entries, LCP tracker, DIR, Labor compliance. (Required)

Certifications:

  • Valid Driver's License (Required)
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) offered by the American Payroll Association (Required)
