This position is open to#Both: Registered Nurses## Licensed Practical Nurses Position Summary: A professional care provider who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, providing care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other health team members. The LPN or RN#will be responsible for meeting the standards required by CMS, GHS, and other regulating agencies for managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment on the unit. The LPN or RN#will process information on the GHS#s Health Information System as required in performing job responsibilities. Qualifications for LPN: Graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nurses. Knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing appropriate to practice setting. Participates in educational conferences, completed educational inservices and updates and maintains professional knowledge and skills related to areas of practice. Currently licensed in the State of North Carolina as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Qualifications for RN: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina. Minimum one year experience as a RN. BLS certification. Knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing appropriate to the practice setting.
