Position Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in assuring the implementation of the established healthcare plan(s) for a specified number of clients as delegated and supervised by the Registered Nurse (RN). Implementation is limited to the care of clients whose health status would be expected to change only over a period of days and weeks.# Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Holds a current North Carolina or compact state#license as a practical nurse. Trained in the standards of Division of Facility Services, Federal Medicare Regulations # Medicaid regulations for long term care. Must be able to lift a patient weighing as much as 250lbs several times daily with the assistance of another employee and the ability to function at a fast pace environment.
