Olin Winchester LLC Maintenance Specialist 12345 in Oxford, Mississippi

This is a job for a Maintenance Specialist position with a company located in the Oxford, MS area. 

Maintenance Specialist Essential Functions: Perform a variety of duties associated with fabrication, repairing, replacing and repairing piping, pumps, valves, cylinders, flanges, and hoses by utilizing a variety of hand tools, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools. Weld, cut, and grind equipment in all areas of the plant including in confined spaces, pits, trenches, and on top of cranes. Install, set, right and level new equipment. Operate heavy equipment and powered industrial trucks; use precision equipment to measure; use brakes, rolls, and torches to fabricate shoots and hopper; repair belts, pulleys, and flywheels. General maintenance and repair on all machines. Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment in the production area.

Maintenance Specialist Position Requirements*: Two (2) years continuous and current industrial maintenance experience or Maintenance certification. Demonstrated job stability. Industrial Controls experience preferred. Experience with the use of hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings and sketches to make appropriate repairs, construct electrical control panels, and integrate control panels, machines, and field devices as needed.

Maintenance Specialist Physical Demands and Work Condition Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to pass a physical, drug screen and background check if job offer is received and accepted. Ability to pass a functional physical testing and be able to use standard safety equipment and wear all required personal protective equipment (in extreme hot/cold environments). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to attend orientation and training on 1st shift (7:30am - 3:30pm) before transitioning to either 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) or 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:00am) primary assignment. Training could take up to 6 weeks to complete. Ability and willingness to work overtime, including weekend hours. Access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required. Successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
