As an apprentice working for Retrofit Electric, you ll work as part of a project crew to install commercial and industrial projects in Southern MN and the Twin Cities Metro area and be part of our thriving, Woman-Owned Small Business. We offer paid training, 401K, PTO, Per Diem for Travel outside your assigned territory. This position will work in the Twin Cities, metro area and will report to the Field Supervisor. The Apprentice Electrician will be working on electrical installations under the guidance of a Journeyman Electrician. General electrical work and troubleshooting is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Must keep safety a priority and follow all company and regulatory safety requirements. Must have general knowledge of electrical installations and systems. Must be able to lay out and install lighting systems, circuitry, conduit and control systems. Must have the ability to develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with other employees of the company, supervisors and customers. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely and correctly use electrical tools, hand tools, aerial lifts, scaffolds and ladders. Performs other duties as assigned. Willingness to attend classes as scheduled by Retrofit Electric to gain knowledge and progress towards journeyman license.
