One Therapy Network Part Time Receptionist- Children's Therapy Services in Overland Park, Kansas
Established in 2002, Children's Therapy Services is locally owned, located in Overland Park, Kansas and now in Mission, Kansas. Children's Therapy Services has provided speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, developmental and behavioral therapy, sensory therapy, social skills instruction, early reading skills, dyslexia intervention, parent education, and Autism and ADHD evaluations to over 7000 families in the Kansas City Metro.
Our mission is to maximize the potential of children by providing individualized, family-centered education and intervention services.
Qualifications include:
Basic computer skills
Personable and able to communicate well with families and therapists
Ability to drive
Fast learner
Punctual and able to meet timelines
Willingness to adapt and help as needed
High school graduate
We are looking for a team member that works well with our staff, families, and wants to help our company succeed! We want an employee who is wanting to make this a career and stay with us for the foreseeable future. We are not looking for someone currently enrolled in college.
This position is part time, in person, Monday, Tues, Wed or Mon, Tues, Thurs 8:00-12:00 at our Overland Park office, but may do one day at the Mission office in the future.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greeting clients and welcoming them to our office
Ensuring patients have intake paperwork completed
Calling patients to remind of appointments and schedule changes
Enforcing clinic policies to parents
Answer calls and scheduling patients
Collecting patient payments
Verifying patient's insurance benefits
Light cleaning of office
Helping therapists as needed with organization and clients
Preference to applicants with medical billing or medical office experience
Starting rate is $18 per hour
