Pay Range: \$48,683 - \$81,416 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: JCCC is searching to fill our open Assistant Professor, Construction Management Technology position.

Faculty members are expected to be effective teachers and excel in classroom instruction. Minimum expectations of faculty who teach at JCCC:

Member of College Community - In addition to teaching, full-time faculty members are expected to be active members of the College Community. Minimum expectations of full-time faculty at JCCC:

  • Perform professional responsibilities in accordance with the goals, missions and plans of the department, program, division and College.
  • Contribute to the growth and enhancement of the College mission and programs.
  • Contribute to the creation of a collegial culture.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS degree or higher, + 7 years\' experience
  • Ability to teach in the following areas:
    • Construction Methods
    • Building Codes
    • Construction Specifications
    • Construction Management
    • Civil Engineering Materials
    • Green Building Fundamentals
    • Construction Documents
    • Construction Cost Estimating
    • Ability to teach all classes in person
    • Past experience in teaching or in construction trades a plus
    • Past construction experience in the related classes taught

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Communication skills
  • PowerPoint skills a plus
  • Canvas experience skills a plus
  • Leadership skills
  • Experience teaching construction trades
