The Account Manager develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives and impact the direction of the business.

Be a mentor leader, serve as an expert, and support our territory managers, key accounts, and distributors nationwide. Take ownership role in identifying growth opportunities working with sales team members, TMs, RMs, PSM, BDMs and division leadership teams. Develop and support Rental growth strategy plan for compressed air and gas treatment products. Focus being desiccant air dryers, nitrogen, and filtration products. Develop and maintain Rental key accounts by working closely with the respective decision makers in, Engineering, R&D, and Procurement Departments as well as fleet directors and upper management. Become a trusted advisor and has the ability to translate customer requirements into proposals that are priced to win and provide acceptable profits to meet company guidelines. Identify and help support, develop NPD for CGGC business unit. As the commercial leader serves as the customer expert and Voice of Customer resource. Provide sales training presentations via web throughout the year working with division product manager, marketing & division sales manager. Actively participate and provide monthly forecast and month end reports each month. Organize and participate in customer meetings, customer presentations, and visits to Parker division as needed. Maintain a complete and up to date project tracker for all projects/programs. Participate and support annual trade shows throughout the year and division meetings throughout the year. Cultivate and share competitive market intelligence with division business leaders.

Bachelor's Degree A minimum of 5 years' experience in Capital selling with significant time spent in the compressed air treatment industry. Knowledge on compressed air dryers, filtration, and nitrogen technology. Must be able to deliver high level technical sales presentations and be able to articulate Parker’s offerings, understand customers business and become a trusted advisor. Ability to develop, maintain and nurture long term customer relationships. Excellent written & verbal communication including MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook, experience in CRM software preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and peers within Parker and Customer organizations. Excellent interpersonal & time management skills. Creative problem-solving skills, strong negotiation skills and judgement
