POSITION TITLE: Under Resourced Aspire Grade-level Lead

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

Purpose Statement: To assist with providing support to our underresourced students, both academically and with social emotional needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two-year college degree or higher, 48 College hours, Para educator certification, OR acquire passing score on Accuplacer test.

  • Computer and office equipment skills preferred; may be required for some positions.

  • Knowledge of child development, language development, behavioral, and crisis management preferred.

  • Such alternative to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise large and/or small groups of students in both structured and non-structured circumstances.

  • Work with individual and small groups to supervise and assist in learning activities and record keeping as prescribed by the teacher.

  • Assist staff with clerical tasks, as assigned.

  • All other duties as may be assigned to assist with effective and efficient daily operations.
