THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Process Analyst is a key contributor to major campaigns and projects led by the client-facing team, focusing on the analysis of devices produced using cutting-edge semiconductor process technology. With a wealth of experience and expertise in semiconductor logic technology, you will conduct lithography analysis and process flow emulation, leveraging insights from device structure, layout, material analysis, and critical dimensions obtained through reverse engineering processes. In addition to technical analysis and report writing, you will play a crucial role in monitoring technology trends, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of innovation in the semiconductor industry.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Provide Expertise in Semiconductor Process Analysis

  • Develop process flows and generate process flow emulations.

  • Conduct measurements of critical dimensions.

  • Annotate images based on reverse engineering findings.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports based on analysis outcomes.

    Meta-Analysis of Analysis Results

  • Compare results across different generations and foundries.

  • Craft technical blogs elucidating the contextual significance of analysis findings.

  • Produce video briefings detailing the current state and future projections of semiconductor processing for logic devices.

    Provide Guidance to Other Analysts

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow analysts, aiding in the evaluation of reverse engineering results.

  • Assist broader project teams by offering insights on technology trends, process/materials analysis, research, and documentation.

  • Address customer inquiries pertaining to published reports.

    WHO YOU ARE

  • Master’s or Ph.D. In a relevant field (Physics, Electrical, Chemical, Sciences etc.)

  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor devices, quantum physics and channel/junction Engineering

  • In addition to your education, 5+ years of industry experience in a foundry in at least one of the following areas:

  • Semiconductor unit process and related equipment including Photolithography, Plasma Etching, Diffusion/CVD/Metal, ion implantation, CMP and wet cleaning.

  • Knowledge and experience in interpreting results from analytical methods including SEM, TEM, EDS, EELS, SIMS, FTIR, Raman, SRP

  • Understanding limitations and advantages of each technique

  • Knowledge of semiconductor transistor/die/wafer/package level test, quality control and six sigma methodologies, SPC and DOE

  • Strong analytical skills combined with ability to handle multiple sources of information.

  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

  • Recognized as a technical expert within the company.

  • Anticipates internal and or external business challenges, vendor and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product, or service improvements.
