We are looking for a versatile and well-organized Meeting and Events Manager with an outward direct-sales focus to meet and exceed established sales targets.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

  • As the Meeting & Events Manager, you will be the go-to person for creating exceptional experiences for our clients holding their Meeting & Events at the property.

  • Respond in a timely manner to incoming catering & event opportunities.

  • Conduct hotel site tours, formulate creative client presentations and tailor catering solutions to meet the clients needs.

  • Preparing all event documentation & contracts - coordinating with sales, operations and the client ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post event phases.

  • Attending client receptions, events and trade shows in order to showcase Hotel.

  • Recognizing opportunities for upselling and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Does this sound like you?

  • Graduate of a hospitality/event management program or similar background experience.

  • Master at organizational skills and possesses a high attention to detail.

  • Previous experience in a Sales or Events coordination role, Catering Management experience and/or Front Office operations is preferred.

  • Loves speaking with clients, assessing their needs and turning their vision into reality for a perfect event.

  • Has a team focused approach at work, recognizing that one can't do the work alone.

  • Loves variety in their work, and can be flexible with a work schedule, that may include some evenings, weekends from time to time.

  • Ability to communicate in both English and French (French not required, but a definite bonus!)
