Ø Purpose of Position

  • To provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate receivable of accounts under his or her control.

Ø Major Responsibilities

  • Arrange for payment collection from clients in line with credit terms.

  • Reconciliation of accounts and provide debtor / accounts statements to the clients.

  • Track and record outstanding and collections.

  • Raise alarm if a client is not paying beyond 1 month.

  • Investigate and resolve customer queries relating to billing and collection.

  • Ensure timely collection of certificates of tax and VAT deduction at source from clients.

  • Ensure compliance with taxation relevant for the AR processing.

  • Maintain VAT books like, VAT current account, sales & purchase books, etc.

  • Liaison with VAT circle for time submission of return and other documents.

  • Liaison with bank to process inward and outward remittances

  • Maintain communication with business units to collect all the required documents relating to remittances and submit them to bank.

  • Assist with month-end closing.

  • Any other task as assigned by supervisor.

Ø Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

  • To monitor, implement various measures to ensure that the outstanding does not exceed the budgeted DSO

  • To ensure outstanding > 180 days do not exceed 10% of the total outstanding

  • To ensure timely client visits are made which enhances the recovery process

  • Good level of Interaction with Sales Team to assist them in bringing O/S to the lowest level.

  • To ensure VAT return submission within 15 of each month.

  • To ensure sending and receiving remittances at earliest possible time.

 Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)from any reputed University.

  • 2/3 years of experience in credit recovery managementin any reputed company
