Overview

1st SHIFT POSITION: MONDAY-THURSDAY 4 10 HOUR SHIFTs (5 A.M. TO 3 P.M.)

STARTING RATE OF PAY: $25.29

QUALIFIED RATE OF PAY: $25.67

HEALTH INSURANCE AFTER 60 DAYS.

Overview of Position: Fuse Coat Painter Utilities at CLOW VALVE are responsible for the painting of small or large valves, assembly of small or large valves and forklift operation dependent upon production need.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of a successful fuse coat painter include but are not limited too:

-Retrieve unpainted parts from tub, bin or pallet.

-Loading parts onto chain conveyor.

-Blowing shavings/debris from unpainted parts.

-Retrieving hooks to hang unpainted parts.

-Painting with handheld paint sprayer.

-Checking temperature of parts.

-Unloading finished parts from conveyor line.

-Place finished parts on or in pallets tubs or bins.

-Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing production requirements as needed.

Responsibilities of a successful small valve assembler include but are not limited too:

-Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. -Positions parts and components by using work instructions. -Verifies specifications by testing product and visually inspecting quality. -Assembles products using hand tools and other equipment. -Resolves verifiable assembly problems to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources if needed. -Palletizes and gets product ready for shipment, once complete. -Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. -Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

Responsibilities of a successful forklift operator include but are not limited too:

-Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork.

-Visually assessing and clearing their traffic area of people, objects, and other forklift traffic.

-Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate.

-Transfer to designated location throughout the facility by complying with all safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications

Qualifications of the successful candidate for Fuse Coat Painter position will include but is not limited too:

-Lifting/carrying of 25-40 pounds throughout shift.

-Standing greater than 6 hours per day.

-Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.

-Ability to work around machinery.

-Ability to use hand tools and do repetitive work.

-Manufacturing Experience is considered

-Ability to wear PPE including but not limited to earplugs, safety glasses, metatarsal and guarded boots.
