Job Title: Project Development Engineer - Lighting

Job Summary: ECM Holding Group Inc has an opportunity for a Project Development Engineer - Lighting. This position will demonstrate sound lighting industry and project development knowledge, superior leadership and communication skills, the ability to focus on minute details while still seeing the big picture, be detail oriented, and possess a desire to solve complex problems. The right candidate will be someone who takes initiative, is self motivated and results-oriented, and excels working with others across teams. The position can be performed remotely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead visits to customer project sites to investigate and comprehensively audit lighting systems using SnapCount.

  • Develop retrofit proposals for Lighting systems in accordance with the ECM Lighting Development Team’s best practices. Proposals to include scope of work, cost, savings and utility incentive potential.

  • Lead engineering development activities in support of construction, operations, and maintenance of customer site projects as required by project development contracts.

  • Coordinate with vendors and installation contractors for feasibility and pricing verification of proposed project modifications;

  • Provide engineering guidance throughout development, construction, project commissioning, and operations, including proposals, technical reports, cost estimates, and presentations;

  • Compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes;

  • Assist operations team as needed to ensure successful project implementation that meets or exceeds company objectives, financial parameters, and technical needs required to deliver customer energy cost savings;

  • Cultivate and maintain positive business relationships;

  • Travel required as needed to perform duties.

  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Must follow safety procedures and use required safety equipment as instructed verbally and as outlined in the ECM Safety manual.

  • Must have ability to perform each essential job duty/responsibility satisfactorily with or without accommodation.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Minimum 5 years’ Lighting project development and implementation work experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and quantify energy savings for lighting retrofit projects

  • SnapCount lighting platform experience is preferred. Experience with similar platforms to be considered.

  • Knowledge of measurement and verification, project cost estimating and incentives.

  • Valid Driver’s License in good standing, issued by resident state required.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer communication and technical presentation skills.
