Responsibilities Communicates with customers to determine event details and requirements, evaluates requests, recommends service plans and pricing, and provides status updates Schedules logistics and secures resources for all aspects of events including space, vendors, and staff; and coordinates details and resolves operational issues Monitors and processes event related transactions and event data and records Greets customers/guests, assists with registration, answers questions, and refers complex issues to appropriate entities Assists with planning and the creation of promotional materials and resources for events Qualifications Required: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing Ability to interact positively with a diverse staff and clientele Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion Preferred: Experience in special event planning, coordination and execution Bachelor\'s degree Knowledge and experience with setting up and troubleshooting special event and presentation style technology (ie: microphones, camera\'s, projectors, computer equipment, livestreaming technology) Experience working with a computerized reservation or event management software system.
