JC Hill Tree Farm, Inc Farm/Nursery Worker in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania

This is a Temporary Position. Dates of employment are 03/8/24 to 12/08/2024. There are no benefits. Employee will perform all aspects included in the growing and harvesting of trees and hay. Including but not limited to pruning with a hand held pruner and lots of manual labor of digging the trees in the field. Preparation in planting the nursery stock. Able to work in hot humid weather, rain and cold weather for extended periods of time, bending, stooping, and reaching to plant, cultivate and harvest ground level crops. Employee must be physically able to meet and perform all job specifications stated in job order, including lifting 35 to 75 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. Able to climb up and down ladders. Must have no felony convictions. Workers subject to random drug tests. Employment days/hours varies Monday thru Sunday due to weather conditions and busy times of the year. Paid bi-weekly. Do not report directly to the company.
