The Pennsylvania Game Commission is seeking an experienced and dependable, 3-Year Limited Term, Game Lands Maintenance Worker for the State Game Lands. The primary purpose of these lands is the management of habitat for wildlife and provide opportunities for lawful hunting and trapping. As a Game Land Maintenance Worker 1, you will be performing semi-skilled work and assisting with other duties as needed. For example, in this position you will assist with maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, posting signs, ranges, and more. You will also have the opportunity to assist with mowing, habitat management, and other duties. This is the perfect job for you to continue developing skills in the construction trades, as well as expanding your knowledge and understanding of the agency's wildlife habitat program.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40 hours per week. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment; or One year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment; or One year of construction equipment operation experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Special Requirements: This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent. This position requires the selected candidate to obtain an active Class A Commercial Driver's License within one year of employment in this job.
