Cole Engineering Services, Inc. Software Design Engineer in Orlando, Florida

VETERAN'S PREFERENCE

Functional Responsibility:

Software Engineer responsible for developing the next generation collective training software systems. This includes the training management tools leveraging modern Angular frameworks, and microservices within Java along with the sumulators and simulations leveraged in this next generation training environment. Software will be developed in an Agile DEVSECOPs development environment.

Minimum/General Experience:

  • Requires competence with Angular and Java along with software analysis and design, performance analysis, configuration, code and data management with relative agile development tools academic knowledge.
  • Agile development experience in a DEVSECOPS environment is an advantage.
  • Experience with simulation system software like AVCATT, NCM3, CCTT, OneSAF, VBS and general virtual simulator experience is a plus.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, or software engineering from an accredited college or university.

Other Requirements:

This is an in-office position, and some travel may be required.
