Summary

The Salesforce Service Application Manager uses technical leadership to lead and participate in development projects. The Manager is responsible for creating strong relationship with business partners to drive strategy and tactical execution. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of Salesforce Service developers and providing leadership and direction for selecting solutions across Salesforce platform. The Manager manages the project goals of the team, contributes to product strategy, and helps develop the team. This role is responsible for setting up frameworks of product standards and procedures & technical direction, but making sure developers can assess the requirements in front of them and make the right direction. The Manager effectively manages platform maintenance and new development.

This position will support our IT team and is eligible to work a remote schedule.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationship with business partners to drive strategy and tactical execution.

  • Spearhead the end-to-end process of hiring and training for our Salesforce development team.

  • Manage a diverse group of onshore and offshore resources, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

  • Provide strategic insights into resource allocation, optimizing efficiency, and enhancing productivity.

  • Your decisions will shape the direction of our development efforts.

  • Establish and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to gauge and elevate team performance.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of team structure and processes.

  • Present compelling progress reports, showcasing your team's achievements and impact on senior executive leadership.

  • Lead the development team through all phases of the development lifecycle.

  • This includes requirements gathering, scoping, prioritization, solution architecture, build, QA/UAT, and release.

  • Provide expert guidance by offering best practice recommendations for successful execution of Salesforce Service Cloud projects.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and proactively suggest innovative solutions that go beyond the Salesforce ecosystem to effectively address and fulfill business requirements.

  • Establish and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and elevate team performance.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Services or related.

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA).

  • 7+ years relevant experience required.

  • 5+ years of experience managing a Salesforce development team or equivalent.

  • Expertise in Sales /Service processes, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce's suite of products throughout all Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases.

  • Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, showcasing a mastery of its functionalities and the ability to leverage them effectively to drive business success.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and achieve measurable results.

  • Experience in conducting technical interviews and building high-performing teams
