VETERANS PREFERENCE:

Essential Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources.
  • Acts as the Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILSM).
  • Supply support/logistics management. Prepare inventory artifacts (DD 1149s, Equipment Inventory Record (EIR) or Training Device Inventory Checklist Record (TD ICLR)).
  • Configuration management. Track inventory (model/serial/IUID/quantity/location).
  • Supply support. Equipment ordering/tracking (contracts and Budget Purchase Requests (BPR)).
  • Lab support: Track lab and program status.
  • Supply support. Help with shipping/delivery tracking of inventory to clients sites.
  • Configuration management. Tracking Personal Computer (PC) baselines (what images are on what machines, their status).
  • Integrated logistics management. Experience with logistics and understanding of life cycle product support and sustainment requirements.
  • Create Item Unique Identification (IUID) labels for equipment.

Experience Requirements:

  • Candidate must have approximately 3 or more years of experience with Defense Department acquisition policies and procedures or like experience.
  • DoD Acquisition policies and procedures, coordinating complex Navy procedures, and developing logistics budgets.
  • The candidate should have significant knowledge of and experience with Government contract and procurement procedures including new contract actions, contract modifications, and product procurement to ensure all life-cycle support logistics requirements are satisfied.
  • Possess the ability to coordinate and integrate the work activities of several different projects at any one time.
  • Possess the ability to communicate with others both orally and in writing in working out solutions to problems or questions relating to the Logistics program.
  • Experience with Aviation and/or Training Systems desired.
  • Employer conducts background checks

Education Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree in a logistics, business, management, or technical field is preferred.

Security Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
