Working with a manufacturing company in the South Orlando area that is seeking qualified Facilities Maintenance Technicians for 1st Shift!!!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance and light to medium repairs on facility equipment and systems, including electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You will diagnose machine malfunctions, determine needed repairs, and either perform the repairs or provide cost and time estimates for outside contractors. Additionally, you will provide recommendations for improving preventative maintenance activities, develop processes for equipment maintenance, and install new equipment or systems. This role requires the ability to complete forklift repairs, compressor repairs, electrical work (up to 480v), and motor installations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and light to medium repairs on facility equipment and systems.

  • Diagnose machine malfunctions and determine needed repairs.

  • Provide cost and time estimates for outside contractor repairs.

  • Recommend improvements for preventative maintenance activities.

  • Develop processes for equipment maintenance.

  • Install new equipment or systems.

  • Complete forklift repairs, compressor repairs, electrical work (up to 480v), and motor installations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of welding equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, paint systems, waste water treatment processes, and general factory maintenance processes.

  • Previous maintenance work experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to resolve situations in a timely manner and make sound business decisions.

  • HVAC certification is preferred.

  • Ability to troubleshoot systems in a safe and diligent manner.

Schedule:

1st Shift, Monday-Friday

7:00AM - 4:30PM, with Overtime Available.

*After 6 months this role will transition to a 2nd Shift

Pay:

$27-28 hr., based on experience.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00
