Summary

The Event Sales Manager handles large market, local catering. This person has an assigned quota and is responsible for solicitation of new business and handling inquiries. This manager is also responsible for detailing events and ensuring guest satisfaction. The focus of this position will be growing our social business, specifically Weddings and Off Premise Catering.

Event Sales Managers also host hotel tours, maintain strong customer relationships, participate and may lead event meetings, and other staff meetings, and work as a team member with the sales and catering staff. The manager also works closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.

What you will do:

  • Assist the Director of Events in maximizing the event sales of the hotel.

· Plan, organize and deliver outstanding proposals that win event business for Hyatt Regency Orlando Int’l Airport

  • Ensure seamless event implementation to secure the clients satisfaction.

  • Drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout their experience.

  • Build and maintain client relationships.

  • Meet and exceed sales goals and targets.

Preference is for the position to be based on property; however, we will consider a remote position for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality/Tourism management

  • Minimum 2 years relevant working experience, ideally as an Event Sales Manager

  • Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience with South Asian Weddings and Off Premise Catering
