Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in and around Orlando, FL . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are an Electrician eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Perform Scheduled and Emergency Repairs on Production Equipment including Drillers, Presses, Rollers, Welding Machines, Overhead Cranes, etc.

  • 3 Phase Electrical, VFD (Variable Frequency Drivers), Motor Controls

  • Examine, Evaluate Isolating Faults and Repairing Equipment

  • Maintain and Repair Maintenance Shop Equipment

  • Assist in Monitoring the Organization's Use and Inventories of Spare Parts, Maintenance Supplies, and Equipment; Initiates Reordering when Necessary

  • Perform Preventative and Predictive Maintenance and Review the Operation of Plant Equipment to Minimize Unplanned Downtime

  • Perform Mechanical Skills; Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic Troubleshooting and Repair of Production Machines

  • Identify Areas for Improvement

  • Clean, Organize, and Maintain Work area

  • Other Tasks as Assigned

Requirements:

  • Electrical and Mechanical Ability

  • Experience in Maintenance with Strong Background Mechanical Systems

  • Understanding of 3 Phase Electricity and Components

  • Able to Read Schematics and Blueprints

  • Pass a Drug Screen

  • Standard PPE

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Must be able to Lift up to 50 Pounds and Comfortable Working at Height

  • Able to Work a Flexible Schedule
